1. idle speed is a "no-load" situation.
2. Riding is a "load" situation. - This is when the problem occurs!
This could be something simple or very complicated to diagnose ... its time for a top notch professional... not just some parts replacer!!!!!
I gave seen a quad that would idle fine, even when warmed up, but try and race it and it would overheat and lock up. The problem was a BENT connecting rod, from forcing the engine to turn over when the engine was FULL of gasoline! (Forcing past a hydraulic lock situation!)
SOURCE: while riding my yz 125 it just died and won,t kick up again
Please rate the solution as a "FixYa" if able. Thanks!
