Sounds like the battery is dying. A low battery and/or bad stator or bad regulator will cause the battery to get low on voltage. Although enough to start the bike and idle, it will loose power to the coils under heavy throttle.

Check fuel pump. You might have a bad diaphragm.

2009 Honda Shadow Aero ran fine yesterday, stopped for about 3 hours would not start last night. Turned over would not start, help?

sounds like a CDI issue!
could also be an ignition switch or run/stop switch issue.
is the bike lacking any power when running?
Maybe stator pick-up coil as well.
Have electrical components checked at the dealer.

I test drove a 2008 Honda Shadow 750 Aero and it does not turn easy or smoothly. Owner said that it's typical for this bike.

2009 Honda 750 Shadow ran fine until the oild dipstick popped out of it's tube because it wasn't screwed in?? Now it just urns over but will not start.

If you ran it low on oil, there's a sensor in the oil pan that relies on oil to cool, and have been known to fritz.

2004 Honda VT 750 Shadow Aero neutral light switch location

If you were sitting on the bike, it's on your left down at the bottom of the bike but not under it. Right above the kickstand. Has a single wire running to it

I recently changed the oil on my 2005 Honda Shadow 750 Aero, the next day riding home from work my bike died as if it was not getting gas. It immediately fired back up and I began to ride home, it happened...

If you have a fuel pump, that could be the problem. If the pump is not working, only 1 cylinder will get some fuel. Maybe water came into electrical part of the pump and shot the fuse, just check the pump operation.

I need to replace the o ring (petcock) on my 2004 honda shadow aero and need to know if i need to remove tank or maybe get special tool to remove petcock

Drain the tank. You should be able to remove the petcock by simply turning the nut holding it on or turning the whole petcock assembly. It may be stuck in place by the o-ring/fuel filter inserted into the tank. Be sure the filter is in place when you put the petcock back on or you will have problems with leaking gas out the carburetor overflows (from tank rust getting into the carburetors). Chances are the leaking gas is not form the tank sealing o-ring, but from the vacuum diaphragm assembly attached to the back of the petcock. Part # 5 on the microfiche.
