Cd player stopped working with a message on LCD "No disc".
CD Bounced off the spindle or a drive motor failed. No easy fix for that one.

It can be repaired but in all of my years in consumer repair, I dread the CD/DVD tray alignments the worst.
There are many things involved in getting them to operate without fail. Using the mfgs documentation you can get them up and running but most of the time they failed because something is amiss to begin with. So you spend an hour getting everything setup and it will work once or twice but them fail. Only to find out that a location sensor is bad or a gear is missing a tooth....
