Download this unlocker. Unzip it somewhere you will remember.

1) Turn Off your phone
2) plug your phone to the PC using your mini usb cable
3) put your phone on the flash mode *,#,and power button
4) open the software
5) click on connect RFone
6) click yes
when it say done it is unlocked

This info is in motodude sig just find a post by him and you will find many links that are usefull for motorola phones.

If you dont get it from your service provider it's considered illegal and you could serve at least 2 years in prison.

Are you guys serious....

Verizon & Alltel (which happened to recently finalize the merge) use CDMA. CDMA does not use SIM cards.

AT&T, T-Mobile, etc. use SIM cards - wheter they are 3G networks, TDMA, etc.

they are right - you can't switch SIM cards in tracfones.

How to unlock my sim card?
A "Subsidy Unlock Code" is a code that is unique to your phone.
The code is assigned by the original service provider the phone was manufactured for so that it cannot be taken to another carrier for activation without their permission.

Most times you will receive the message " Enter Special Code " when you insert a SIM card from a diferent carrier. Motorola cannot provide subsidy unlock codes. You will need to contact the original service provider for further assistance.

dear friend, u have entered a wrong sim pin code or the sim u entered in ur phone 3 atempts wrong pin code inserted. So u need unlock the sim with a puck code. Commonly 2 pin codes(pin code1 and pin code2) are availabe with 2 puk code for every sim card. U need to fix ur operation that what code to be inserted in ur phone.
