you can set your own codes if you forgot yours. press the counter code then the department registration (botton left) it will ask for a password , press the password key and enter 123456 you can then goto register new department and you can create a new passwrd for yourself

Xerox 425dc service code

Hi.
The 425 dc error code refers to the department code assigned to the printer.
425 means that you have entered an invalid department code.
to fix this, you need to turn off the department codes
To do this, press the menu button so that it says machine defaults
then use the arrow down scroll button until you get department codes, then press enter
Scroll down to select off, and then press enter again.
Now press the features button to return the printer to a ready state.
You should now be able to print on the copier again.

If you can get into service mode...try COPIER, FUNCTION, CLEAR THEN CHOOSE PWD-CLR, awitch off then on.

You need to blow away all the codes and start from scratch. You need service tech codes to accomplish this. Call your technician.

you mean all departments codes?
if you are the person incharge of copier on your company,
1) press function, gen settings, depart. mode,
2) input the 4 digit key operator code, the search for department mode again.
3) press the department code on the left side of the touch panel then you can erase each department code.
