If you are just looking for a basic inkjet color printer for your term papers, or resumes, then this might work fine for you. This uses T038 ink cartridge for Black and White, and a T039 for colored.
However, if you are doing printing most of the time, you might want to invest in an ink-saving printer. This one, from my experiences, empties my cartridge so easily, especially the colored ink.
Other good feature of this printer is you can choose from five print modes. Draft, lets you print speedily and is useful if you just want too transfer some long notes from your screen to a paper. The print is quite thin like a dot matrix print and uses very little ink, but it is quite readable and clean.

if u are using hp printer u can see a number on that and its easily avail with computer dealers. 

I bought Epson cx 4300 in Dubai. i could not find any alternative ink for use in india how can i find it in mumbai maharastra india

The driver is what enables your computer and printer to communicate....that should get you printing again!

perhaps that the cable isn't put in the way it should , but it could also well be that you need a chip resetter for epson cartridges to let it recognize the cartridges correctly
