Same problem i have 2 consoles neather will work so im trying to use 1 for parts

There could be a certain part of your Atari's 2600 consoles mainbaord inside of your console and a certain part went bad and needs to be replaced.

i have a 1995 fleetwood brougham and when you open the doors inside lights dont work neather does any of the in side light work with doors closed even the ones on the mirror

The overload / relay is bad on the compressor . Pt # 12002784 . This part is easily replaceable .

im sorry to hear that you have YLOD (Yellow Light Of Death)
it can be caused by overheating, where the cpu/gpu is seperating from the board.

Well you have 2 options :

1. if you still have warrenty i suggest you use it, and then send it to sony.

2. If no warrenty try this below, it does require tools, and some knowhow.
so be carefull if you wanna try this on your own.

if you dont feel like doing this on your own, then try search in google on "YLOD" and see if you can find any workshops near you, im sure there is, since this is a commen problem now a days.

the drive switch is broken try to buy a new one and then it should work coz my dad works in the computer part

the backlight is dead. Ihad the same problem with my original DS. This can be repaired but you will need to find a part source for a ds light backlight, try ebay. A lot of parts for newer consoles are hard to find. Even for me and I know how to repair a lot of it.Or try replacing the backlight with LED's
