SOURCE: Casio pro-trek PRG-60T Buttons no longer activate anything.

Is the battery indicator on L (Low). If so only timekeeping will work. Check out the manual which tells you that.

Try sticking the watch in a window to charge it till the battery indicator gets to H (may take up to 10 days for a very run down battery). If that doesn't work it send it to Casio for a battery change. Cost of change just over 20GBP sterling.

SOURCE: casio PRO TREK error 'OP EN'

The problems is very simple: On the back cover (inside) is a little Cu metal Part. This part is glued to back cover using a poor glue (rubbered glue) and, in time, is moving from original position. You must put back this parts to original positin ( a little hole inside of back cover) and glue using a good glue. When the back cover is mounted , this part must have a ferm contact with two springs from mechanism (sensor for back cover open). If beatwin this springs isn't a electric short (using Cu metal parts) the internal mechanism of watch "see" the back cover is open and show "OPEN" on screen!

Testimonial: "Simple .... once you know ! (as most things) The "obvious" question is: How did you figure it out ? But THANKS !!"

SOURCE: Casio pro trek prg-80T model 2894 display says "open"

May need a battery replacement. My solar atomic watch battery died after 3 months. Casio said the battery was not covered by the warranty. Check this YouTube video for the battery replacement process:

My Casio Protrek PRG 120 triple sensor show an "open" message and I am no longer able to program the functions and including the alarm. Please tell me what I should do.

it's because the contact that sense whether the watch is opened or not is misaligned.
Just open the watch caseback, re-allign the gold contact on the case-back, and make sure it touches the spring in the other side of the watch.

I have a Casio Pathfinder PAG-70 that reads "OPEN" on the display where the date should be. It is a solar powered watch and shouldn't need a battery change. Any ideas?

Buttons on casio pro trek watch stopped working -time still shows

Sounds like the solar back up cell needs to be replaced. You can get it repaired for rather cheap less that $30(US). You can contact www.casiosalesandservice.com to have it serviced. 877.659.0761
