Driver problem hiiiiiiii om here plz help me out with the right driver for designjet 430 plz help .

You can download the HP printer drivers from their supportWEB site. Please click on this link and select your model printer to download:-http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html

Look this:

1. Make a folder on your desktop, just call it "HP drivers"
2. Unzip the files to the folder
3. Go to Control Panel -- Device Manager
4. Search for the printer
5. Right click and select Properties
6. Go to Driver tap
7. Click on "Update Driver"
8. Click on "Browse my computer for driver software"
9. Browse for the "HP driver" folder and click next

connec the device to the computer and put the driver CD in it. it automatically instals it.just do wat it sayin to do. finally it comes 'your device is installed sucessfully and ready for use'.

When you load the paper, the carriage edge detector measures exactly where the right edge of the paper is located. Then the paper is rolled forward and the edge is measured again. If there is a difference in the measurements, the printer assumes the paper is not loaded squarely and rejects the paper. After you load the paper and the printer asks you to align the paper, take your time, release the paper with the release lever, and line up the right edge of the paper with the right edge of the paper roll. You might have to do it more than once to get it to load. Some plotters are very sensitive and others are more forgiving.

Sorry, drivers are not available for Vista, yip, I know. You can select the 430 but then only have black printing.
HP need their rear ends kicked on this one, they are forcing us to purchase new equipment.

First try the driver for XP

If that does not work try the driver for the designjet 500 or 430 sometimes a like model driver will work.

make sure the contacts on the print cartridge and the carriage area where they go are clean. if cleaning the contacts doesn't help then the carriage and/or trailing cable will need replaced.
