How do I delete browser history when the delete button is greyed out on settings

I cannot delete browser history in the safari settings how can I do this

Have you noted that the Safari application must be completely shut down prior to clearing any history, cache, cookies, etc.

go to setting - general - reset - reset network setting.
then
in setting click on safari and then click on clear history and click on clear cookies and data.

How to delete websites i have visited


Clearing history on the iPad is pretty quick and easy:

1. Tap the "Settings" from the home screen.
2. Tap on "Safari".
3. Scroll down and you will see the "Clear History, Clear Cookies and the Clear Cache" section.

Just clear the ones you want or all of them to reset the browser.

How to delete history from iPad


Searches could be easily removed at the safari web browser go to the safari menu and delete all entries
  1. Open Safari if it is not already open.
  2. Choose History > Clear History, and then click Clear

If you just hit the bookmark button at the top of the internet page it will load your history and at the bottom you can hit clear history

Reset safari and empty cache and delete cookies and other site


Visit the Settings App and then scroll down until you see Safari. Tap on Safari and then scroll down and tap clear cookies and data. You can also clear history in the same screen if you would like.

Instructions to clear this information in Safari in iOS can be found on Apple's website: Safari web settings

These are the instructions from the "Additional Information" section:
To clear your history from Safari, tap Settings > Safari > Clear History.
To clear all cookies from Safari, tap Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies and Data.
To clear other stored information from Safari, tap Advanced > Website Data > Remove All Website Data.

Delete google searches


Go into the settings app and look for safari. Once you are in the safari settings you can clear history.

My iPad's browser is constantly crashing


Close unused tabs

Tap Settings in your Home screen then tap Safari / Clear History, Cookies, and Cache.

Then restart your iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPad. To turn iPad back on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears.
