The unit is sealed with copious ammounts of RTV-11 self leveling silicone. Parts are unavailable for that unit. I wouldn't put the time and effort into it.
If your determined, dig out all the white silicone and unscrew all the screws on the bottom, until things come apart.
Yes error E100 is the laser alright. The only thing you can do to a laser is clean it and oil it. OIL you say? Well the error does not define what in the laser has gone wrong. Most laser mirrors spin like a spinning top. The shaft sits in an upside down top hat. Usually dust gets in the top hat and slows down the spinning mirror. Strip the laser and remove the spinning mirror. Clean the top hat and shaft and place a very very small oil drop in the top hat (I use model train engine oil as its so lite). It should spin freely by hand. See how it spins before you strip it. If this does not cure the fault and cleaning the mirrors, then a new (expensive) laser is required.

The beacon level that u want can be changed from the settings page of the router ....
just visit the advanced wireless settings on the router . there u will be able to change the setings for the beacon interval ....
