I get the Reorder Tone message when I try to transfer a call to just this one extension. All other extensions work just fine. The extension # is 107. I can use one of the other desk phones to dial 107 and it works perfectly. I work at the reception desk and have the main phone. Please respond to [email protected] or if not to this web page. Thank You
SOURCE: How do I undivert an extension?
Oh, the old forward to two destinatons trick :-)
If you're happy with the destination for C.O. Calls, you can set only the intercom call forward. There are *71xx codes that you dial. The 3rd digit is 0 for all calls, 1 for CO calls and 2 for itnercom calls.
The 4th digit can be 0/2/3/4/5 where zero is cancel, 2 is all, 3 is busy, 4 is no answer and 5 is busy/NA. The next digits are the destination which may also include an access code (9) and then #.
So, example to forward all intercom calls to voice mail (if 500) dial *7122 500 #. If the location for both calls is the same you can also reset everything by dialing *7100# then *7102 500 #.

SOURCE: How do I get "call pickup" to work on a KXTES-824?
Two of the above codes work for me, so let's figure out what you're doing. First of all, did you convert the intercom calls to ringing on all calls? If I have auto answer turned on, I can't pick up anything.
If the phone is ringing, I can use 40 and 41xx to pick it up. I can retrieve a call from hold by dialing 53x where x is the line number on hold (just in case you're trying this with a cordless or single line set).
By default, all extensions are in pickup group 1, but 41xx directed call pickup will always work if the Call pickup deny is properly set as you indicated

This is not an answer from the forum and doesn't address or answer the problem which is the same one I'm having with my phone. Anyone out there have any ideas besides looking at the manual?
