SOURCE: "Processing Auto Configuration" keeps showing up on my screen.

It solved by fixing 1024X786 pixel solution.if it not possible by fixing it..
Then look over the VGA driver is correctly support or not
if not then you have to update the VGA (Display) by drivers

How do i get auto configuration off my screen

Try uncheck Auto configuration when you right click on desktop and choose screen resolution menu.
tip

Auto login in Ubuntu Karmic

Ubuntu 9.10 comes with GDM
(GNOME Display Manager) a graphical login program.
This is default login manager in Ubuntu 9.10.

If you, have wish, to login automatically in Ubuntu
instead of the manual login
that you choose in the installation process, we have the new possibility.

Configure GDM to auto login a specific user:

(1.A)
Applications> Accessories> Terminal
When you open this copy it (when you ask for your password, type):
gksu gedit /etc/gdm/custom.conf

Enter the configuration values that you want to override:
AutomaticLoginEnable=true
AutomaticLogin=laikexpert

(Save changes and close custom.conf)

(1.B)
Reboot your system, and you’re automatically logged in to Ubuntu.

Processing auto configuration keeps coming up on

First check to see that all of the cables are connected and fastened in tightly between the monitor and computer using the tiny handscrews on them at the monitor side and on the video card where it connects to your computer.

Also, the resolution detection circuitry in the monitor could be going bad, or you could have a bad video cable connecting it to the computer, or lastly, the video card in your computer could be going bad.

A few separate things you can try:

1. If you have a spare video cable, connect using the spare cable to the monitor and the computer to see if this corrects the issue.

2. If you have another monitor, I would connect it to see if you continue to have video issues.

3. Consider buying a new monitor.

Processing auto configuration

Check your settings in "Power Options Properties".
Control panel/ power options/ advanced/ under power buttons make sure you have "shut down" when you press the power button on your computer.
I hope I am understanding your problem correctly. If not pls. explain what you mean by and when processing auto config. keeps flashing. Is there a black screen or a windows interface?

Can't get it off my screen

You most likely performed a system recovery. Please do not exit this process as this is vital for the proper setup and configuration after recovery. If you exit it prematurely, your system will not work at all. It is normal for it to stay on step 2 for at least 15 to 20 minutes. Configuration usually takes about 30 minutes total.
