I have a Kenmore stacked laundry ceenter washer and dryer. While pulling it away from the wall, the top washer panel (where you put clothes into the washer) came off at the front. Now, I cant reattach it. How do I get it attached again?

Pull the knob off the timer and you should see the screws that hold it in place. Access is from behind.

SOURCE: Removal of front cabinet panel of washer section

Should be two screws on each side of the bottom of the front panel. Takes those out and push the panel up and out. (There are two "tabs?" in the middle of the front panel that lock into the side panels, so you have to push up and then pull out.)

SOURCE: Kenmore Washer/Dryer Stack -- Need to replace Washer

first of all. comming from a Sears Technician.. (don't yell) -- the delivery drivers only know about delivering stuff. they dont know too much,
if the two are the same size they can be stacked.
sometimes have to rig something up
and yes, for that model the top is removed, clips go on the rear and screwed at the front.
in some areas it is sold seperatly as a stacking kit

SOURCE: how do i open washer of stack dryer washer to get

remove the angled panel between the washer and dryer, you will see either 3 or 4 screws holding the top of the washer in place or 2 gold colored clips. remove the screws(or clips) and the top should slide forward and come off. this gives you access to the screws holding the front in place.

I have a stacked Frigidaire FEZ831CA washer/dryer combo and when running the dryer it makes a very high pitched (AND LOUD) screeching sound. Any ideas as to what might be the problem? Thanks, Sean

screeching sound
Sean, Bad felt gasket body to drum, if belt drive on dryer, it could be worn and slipping, making a screech, or if not the belt, the drum may have a worn bearing on its hub allowing it to run crooked and rub where it should not.

Want to know if I can stack a kenmore elit gas dryer on a kenmore elite washer and on top of a 10 inch pedistal or will it be too tall?

The appliances were not designed to be stacked so I would not attempt it if anything I would build a shelf (ledge) to put the dryer on, then bracket it to the wall but be careful of the height especially with a gas dryer and be sure to have plenty of space for airflow. Good luck

Adjust motor/heating elem to put screws back - Kenmore Dryer 417?

pull them away from the wall and see if you have an access panel in the rear of the dryer. If you do remove it and undo the belt so that you can freely sway the drum in either direction. it may re-align the holes for you to replace the screws if not you'll have to open the dryer possibly by prying the top up and undoind the screws that hold the front panel to the cabinet. from there you should be able to move the drum about to get the scres back in but f you do get it opened take the time to clean it out. Make sure you undo door switch wires before removing front panel.
