I would do a cost analysis first. Do you have the necessary tools including a vacuum pump and manifold. How much will it cost to replace the compressor if I damage it? How expensive is a condenser coil if I put in too much refrigerant? What type of oil is in the compressor now? What refrigerant is being used? Do you have a leek detector?

If you cannot answer the above questions or afford the replacement parts I would suggest taking it to a pro. If you need oil and refrigrant then you have a leak that needs fixing first.

I am assuming your enquiry is about the type of lube oil used in the pump section of the compressor. It would have helped if you had provided the model number of the compressor. In any case craftsman suggests all oil lubed compressors use synthetic non-detergent compressor oil.

Assume you mean the Ac compressor if so then i normally stick 50cc of pag oil plus a small mix with this of the yellow dye ,the gas is supposed to be a lubricante but??? .If i have run out of PAG oil then i will use hydraulic oil for power rams ect without any effects so long as its a thin oil then its ok .Yes i know iam a cowboy but? you have to know how it works to be able to know what will work and what will not

I don't believe you can view these online anywhere. These comprerssors are now owned ny Doosan. You can order a service manual from your Doosan dealer. You will need the product code that located inside the side door of the compressor. Usually near the oil cooler.

30 weight non detergent. Sears has this oil on the shelf or you can get the same at any auto parts place.

Non detergent is the key.

I suspect you may have either overfilled the sump or used the wrong viscosity oil, may have splashed up onto valves and patially jammed one open.

would depend on date of perchase, everything produced after jan 06 is strictly 1year warr on everything, no extended. but prior to that transmission had multi year heres a copy of owners manual
