Your battery might be dead or your connection on he back of the netbook is loose and not proving contact to the systemboard anymore, one test would be take battery out , plug in AC and if netbook works means your battery is dead

Battery life draining overnight

Try disabling everything you can through the software, if not possible, unplug them. Then plug one in at a time and leave it overnight. If its OK in the morning, plug in the next item, and so on. Make sure battery is fully charged between each test. When the unit discharges overnight again, the last item you reconnected befroe it discharged is the one causing the voltage drain.

Battery not charging, need to find extra voltage load?

Hi gelly, unless the battery you have purchased just happens to be faulty (can you test with another) then i would suggest that the mainboard is faulty (charging circuit is not working as it should) and unless you are good with a diagram & soldering iron i would recommend taking to a good local tech. Hope this helps.

I charge my battery fully, then use it for 10-15min then close it overnight and the next morning it is dead again????

Are you sure the battery is good it maybe its not holding its charge. . Try removing the battery from the laptop after using it 10 to 15 min see what happens next morning when you put it back in.. Make a note of percentage charge before removeing it on the battery power meter.and again next morning. Hope this has helped you.

I had my plugged in my laptop in overnight and took it off charge to use it today within 20mins after i turn it on, it was down to 59%. What solutions are there to fix the broken?

Ifthe laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be wornout. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cyclesand will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up atall. ORThe battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected thebattery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. Ifthe battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to bereplaced.

Dear Sir/Madam, I bought a Asus Netbook (ASUS 1201N) last month. I re-charge my netbook about 6-8 times. I always charge my netbook more than 8 hours like the point out in the user guide. Now, I have a...

Yes you can use it with half charged battery.
Sounds like you conditioned the battery when new which is a good thing. It will keep your battery in good shape now that it has been conditioned correctly as per your user manual.
Just remember that leaving your battery charging for extended periods of time will reduce its lifespan. When it says the battery is charged take it off the charger.
