Squealing quieted down and stopped. Load ran thru the entire cycle. Ran another load with a very minor squeal, cycle stopped after the wash cycle and did not drain. When I tried to restart the load, I get a buzzing/humming from the control box behind the control knobs and the machine won't do anything. Also it gave me an odd burning smell, not like rubber or clutch pad fiber. Somewhat electrical but not like any electrical burn I ever smelled before. Checked the breakers, nothing tripped. Drained the machine and tilted it back and the three pulleys moved in what appears to be a normal fashion. When I use one pulley to move the belt, they all move but not so freely that I would think anything is broken.

SOURCE: washer wil not spin or drain out after cycle completed
sounds like drain is plugged. this is a fairly easy fix,and you actually get paid to do it. unscrew the bottom panel of your washer should be 3 screws on the very bottom then you will see a white plug that is about 2 1/2" unscrew it (make sure you have a bowl under it water will leak ) and pull it out. this is where you get paid you will find all kinds of change and junk just clean it out reinstall and your clothes will be a lot drier after the spin cycle

We have the same problem, and found out the the electric motor is running very hot. Replacing the motor seam to cure the problem, but the motor is not inexpensive. $200 to $350.
