I cannot connect to the internet using my netgear n150 wireless router. The internet light is orange but the modem is working fine and I can connect to the router itself.

When the router is turned on, the Internet light turns amber for about 20 seconds and then turns green. If the light does not turn green, the router has a problem. If the Internet light is still amber 1 minute after turning on power to the router: a. The Internet is not accessible. Confirm that you have the correct internet setting. b. Clear the router's configuration to factory defaults. This will set the router's IP address to 192.168.1.1. c. Turn the power off and back on to see if the router recovers. If its still not working, reset to factory defaults. You can restore the factory default configuration settings that reset the router's user name to admin, the password to password, and the IP address to 192.168.1.1. To restore the factory default configuration settings: 1. Use a sharp object such as a pen or a paper clip to press and hold the restore factory settings button, located on the rear panel of the router, for about 5 seconds, until the Power light begins to blink (see "Back Panel" on page 4). 2. Release the restore factory settings button, and wait for the router to restart, and for the Power light to stop blinking and become solid green. The factory default settings will be restored so that you can access the router from your Web browser using the factory defaults.

EOC-3220 connects but no internet access

What are you using for Internet connects? do you have the Access point connected to a Router. or is it connected to the Cable or DSL modem. I will need more information to complete this. If you have a router is is set to give an IP address or do you have a static IP? If it is set to give a Dynamic ip change the access point to recieve ip address from router and same with computer. If your connected directly to the Modem with the access point and you only have one IP address it will be used by the access point and not allow the computer to connect.
for more help please provide your internet (DSL, T1, CABLE) if you have router,  how it provides IP, and how access point is connected to it.

No internet or ip adrdress

Check you have Network Adapter in your Network Connection Setting.if it is there then all you need to do is to set IP address,Subnet mask, dafault Gateway,Preferred DNS Address and Alternate Address.

But if it is missing then you need to reinstalll your Network Adapter Driver. The problem might have occur as you restore your system to a point when Network driver was not install.

Anyway, you don't have the driver, download it from the link below

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&os=WW1&osl=en&catid=&impid=&SystemID=INSPIRON1545

Just Select your Operating System and download the Network Controller Driver and Install.

And assigned your IP address,Subnet mask, dafault Gateway,Preferred DNS Address and Alternate Address so that you can connect to internet.

Need network security key or passphrase for my netgear DG834Gv4/DG834GBv4 !!! PLEASE( IP 192.168.0.1)

There is a login key for the router that can be accessed by opening the
address http://192.168.0.1 as described: after the login all settings inside the router can be changed.
Note: use a wired connection when going into the routers' ip address.

When you can not login with the default password, reset the device:

Restoring the Default Configuration and Password
This section explains how to restore the factory default configuration settings, changing the
router’s administration password to password and the IP address to 192.168.0.1. You can erase the
current configuration and restore factory defaults in two ways:
• Use the Erase function of the Web Configuration Manager.
• Press the WPS button and Wireless button on the side of the router simultaneously. You can
use this method for cases when the administration password or IP address is not known.

Resetting to Factory Default Settings
You can use this method for cases when the administration password or IP address is not known.
To restore the factory default configuration settings:
1. Press and hold the WPS button and the Wireless button on the side of the router until the Test
LED turns on (about 10 seconds).
2. Release the buttons and wait for the router to reboot.

WIRELESS SECURITY + PASSPHRASE
The wireless security is a network name for wireless connection called
SSID: the identification name of your router.
The passphrase is used for a secure password getting permission to have wireless data transfer from the router to the computer and vice versa. ( No internet connection so far: only Local Area Network [LAN] )

MODEM
Because the device is a router / ADSL modem you'r able to setup the
modem part for connection on a telephone line to the internet / Wide Area Network [WAN] .
You should use passwords from the Internet Service Provider [ ISP ] enter and save them in the modem section of the device.

HELP?

Hi,

Restore PS3 to factory settings and change your network settings:

Best Results: Reset your router, then give your PS3 a static IP address and go into your router interface, find the DMZ feature and put in the IP address that you gave the PS3, just make sure the IP you give it is within the DHCP pool of IP addresses.

The PS3 will now be sat outside the routers firewall giving you FULL access to internet content and gaming online.

Now test connection settings and you will notice you will now have an open connection to the internet.

Also check your cable connections.

Thanks
