How to fix concrete of my house?

Concrete is a fabulous option for patios, sidewalks, and driveways. But, there can also be issues surrounding it. With the passage of time, holes and cracks may develop on the surface. Not to mention the devastating effects climate change or severe weather conditions can have. The good news is that you don't need to replace the whole surface! Cracks, chips, and holes can easily be fixed by a licensed professional. Even better: there are some things you can do, too, to protect your investments and avoid major concrete repairs. Check the attached link.

I want to strip the concrete floor that I use jasco seal 6 years a go do you have any product I can use .

  • 1 Make sure that the surface of the concrete is cleaned thoroughly. Remove stubborn dirt or stains with a mixture of one part degreasing cleanser and two parts water. Rinse the concrete well and wait 48 hours before continuing.
  • 2 Use a large paintbrush or a long-handled paint roller fitted with a fine-nap roll to coat the entire concrete surface in a thick layer of soy-based or other environmentally-safe chemical stripper. Allow the stripper to eat away at the sealant for 10 minutes, scrape up the peeling sealant with a paint scraper or putty knife. Clean up all of the debris.
  • 3 Rinse concrete to remove all of the stripper. Let the concrete dry 48 hours. Apply the new sealant or the finish of your choice .

Top 2" of my concrete wall has eroded. How do I fix it, so it will last, and make sure new concrete bonds to the old?

    Hi.

There are different kinds of concrete coating. The choice of product varies, depending if the wall is interior or exterior and on the location of the wall (for example the product used in a bedroom's wall will be different from the coating adopted in a garage).

Epoxy coating are great products that can be used in exterior or interior. Epoxy products however may smell and trigger allergies. Epoxy is one of the strongest coating for exteriors.

If the space is a living room, then it is probably better to use acrylic cement. Acrylic coatings do not smell and do not release volatile compounds. Acrylics look similar to Portland cement and are generally less strong and adherent than epoxy paste.

The application method is usually illustrated in the coating product's container. The procedure consists in cleaning the wall (you can use a power washer), applying the product with a trovel, and then checking the results after 24 hours or when prescribed in the coating's instructions.

After applying the coating you can finish the wall with paint and sealer product.

If this is on top or below (soffitt) If the cracks are movement or shrinkage when poured you can cut with Diamond grinder in a V type and then patch with a epoxy and sand fillers. If they are bigger you can use a repair motar .Your local hardware should have these in basic form.

    APPLY WEATHERSTRIPPING TO CONCRETE

    You could try contact cement.
If it's attached to a metal strip I would use screws on it though. Not sure of what kind/brand of weather stripping you are using.

    Water still leaking

Look at and examine the door seal closely for any sign of a hole or tear in it.
If none is visible then it could be the clamp or spring that holds the seal to the drum front that is causing the prob..
Other than that , there could be a crack or hole in the container front.
