The TV starts up and works fine with sound & picture for about the first 30 minutes. Slowly the picture on about 8" of the right side of the TV becomes foggy & the picture seems to be lagging behind. Eventually this clears up and there seems to be a shaded portion in the middle of the screen followed by a rectangle block in of about 1/4 of the screen in the upper left corner. This eventually fades away then the screen starts to slowly turn black in a straight line from top to bottom with eventually only having 6" of clear picture remaining at the top of the screen. This area us all greyish black with defined red & blue lines on the right side of the screen.

This sounds classic to a thermo problem where a part(s) are becoming thermo sensitive with aga and use. When the set is cold and then warmed up, the defective part(s) is changing characteristics.
Some components became thermo sensitive that are driving the display. Or an embeded component in the display itself became thermo sensitive. It is very possible that the fault is on the board that does the X - Y addressing or on the backplane electronics of the display screen itself.
Using the set with defective components is a bad idea. If the part(s) fail completely and go shorted or opened, other more costly damage can be done.
The service rep for the manufacture of your set is equiped and trained to be able to troubleshoot and service your set.
You will have to take the set in to have it serviced.

I would have a tech come out and look at it. Sometimes the ribbon connectors from the upper or lower buffer boards have poor or corroded contacts. Should'nt be a major deal since it comes and goes.

hi.open the back cover of your TV and access the main board. If you can find a small tap switch at the main board press it while the power switch is on it will reset the system back to normal...If resetting dont work you need to t-con board same error appear when t-con board is defective.... try to re insert all terminal connectors sometimes a loose connector could also result in the same problem..good luck let me hear if this solves your problem..post back..
