SOURCE: 1985 Noma NE-14 electric shovel, used for 1st time last wk. Was running great , next day i used it again and turned the key and won't run. Can't find any help anywhere on internet.

as it is electric it is not a job for diy
could be deteriorated insulation, vermin infestation(ants) or nay number of faults that when disturbed will cause a shock to a person not experienced in electrics
take it to an appliance repair shop for a proper diagnosis and test

How to build a backyard igloo!

Backyard igloos are easy and fun for kids. You don't need a large amount of snow, either. A few inches can be shoveled into a pile that's large enough for a kid to crawl into, but you need to be careful to make sure that you make it strong enough that it won't collapse easily.

Start out by piling the snow a couple feet high. Three feet is about as small as you can go, but that works well for most kids. It can be as big as you want, though.

After you pile it up, use a watering can to sprinkle the outside with water. It should be cold water, since hot water will melt the snow more than necessary. Make sure you cover the entire outside of the snow pile. The water is the key to making it strong.

Wait overnight for the water to freeze, and then use a shovel to scoop out the snow on the inside. Make a hole in one side with the shovel, and then carefully shave off the snow on the inside until you are close to the edge.

That's it! If the kids want, they can scrape out the snow on the inside with toy shovels, too. Overall time to do a small one this way is just an hour or so, not counting the overnight freeze.

Can't start my noma 1500 snow thrower HELP won't start up

First thing is to drain the old gas from the carburetor, there should be one bolt on the bottom of the float bowl. You might need to run a small piece of wire through the main jet also.
