How about the buttons next to the screen? If you do not hear anything when you press those buttons, it is going to be the flex cable. The flex cable connects the phone between the hinge. It connects the 2 displays (it's really one display part with both screens, it has a screen on the front and back).
Basically you have the most common problem with the RAZR, the screen part connects to the bottom via the flex cable and is partially damaged or has ben severed. Not terribly hard to fix but you would need someone who can take it apart and who can get the part as well.
Easy fix for most things pull out the battery im pretty sure this will work o and if it doesnt take out the battery and then plug in your charger your phone will still operate just wont charge plugging this in and your problem being resolved might just be a short in the battery which mens you need a new one

send it back under warrantee. I had the same problem and let them fix it. They'll have a new phone to you in 2 days and they'll save your contacts and put them on your new phone. Let me know how it works out.
