How do you turn off light at bottom of TV under Samsung name?

This light is always on and is very annoying at night since the TV is in our bedroom. It is a blueish/white light. We would like it to go off when the TV is turned off. Is there a way to do this. It is a flat screen TV and new within the last 2 years.

Black electrical tape. Ha ha. There is a way to turn the standby light off in the menu on certain sammy TVs. I don't know if yours is one of those. And for the record, don't ever ever buy a tv in the UK, they burn down houses.... HA HA.

Hi I am Vortash that is the standby light and the only way to turn it out is to turn the set off at the wall ? This is the safest thing to do at night in any case Televisions are responsible for more fires in the home than almost anything else .
Here in the United Kingdom there was even a Public announcement film made just to tell people to unplug them at night made by the Fire safety council ... regards Vortash

My Wyze camera kept detecting and recording a flash on the wall every 50 minutes. Panned over to new installed tv and kept it there to get a direct shot of this mystery flash. It is a light on the bottom...

Black Gaffer tape will do it.
But seriously, place a shade over the LED. It is probably infra red light that wouldn't be seen by the camers if it had a filter on the lens but then if it did you would have no night vision.

Fell asleep with my Samsung TV PN 43 plasma on last night. It is off this morning and will not turn on. i have unplugged and plugged it back in, changed the batteries in the remote. HELP!! I get a red...

The first thing I would try would be to unplug and re-plug it and see if any surge has triggered the protect mode. Apart from that tvs are not supposed to turn off when left on all night! Since you say its only a month old it must be under warranty. You can give a ring to samsung customer suppport and they should fix it for you free of cost. If you can get me the name of the country you reside in, I can get you the contact info.

Why Samsung CLP-300 Printer making annoying/loud clicking noises?

So try to get the black toner cartridge out of the Machine. On zhe backside of the Cardridge is a gear. Try to turn the gear, maybe the Toner inside is clump together. When you can turn it very easy in both directions it's fine.

Sony Wega KV-27FS100 RANDOMLY Turns itself ON

You said around 4pm TV is switched on everyday. Check in menu options any on-timer and off-timer is changed. If it is not there is a problem in microprocessor section. EEPROM ic malfunction also shows these type of symptoms. But it can be done by Technical persons only. This is not a major problem. This is due to surge current and lightening like that.
