Hi thanks for using fixya!!

On this problem, I suggest you bring you pda to a service center. Any shops will do as long as the technician is aware about the hardware. But better, if you can contact the exclusive service center for imate in your area.

Regards!

My Rode NT1a stopped working. I checked preamps

Repair of this mic is not something you can do yourself. This sort of failure is common, and I can repair it.

My printer says paper jam although theres nothing in it

This is the problem on Canon MP Pixma Models. Their internal board panel is so sensitive. I have the same printer model, i could not detect what was the problem until I brought to Canon Service Center. They advised me to change the internal control panel board inside. Its quite expensive to replace the said spare part and its not advisable to have it repair and change the spare part. Better to buy a new one rather than to spend more monies on spare parts.

Audio is lost now and then on my bearcat 210xlt but every thing else works fine.

The most common cause for this problem is a broken wire in the mic cord. The mic switch is responsible for putting the radio in receive mode. If the TX wire is broken, then the radio will not go into receive mode. This usually happens because the mic cord is constantly moving around in the vehicle, and as well you are always pulling and tugging on the cord so you can talk in the mic. It happens.

if you have a spare mic, you can try it. If the receive works with another mic, then your stock mic needs repair, if you want to keep using it. Usually the wires break off at the solder joints at the plug, and is a quick fix with a soldering iron.

Or you can just use the other mic, or buy a new one.

I won't transmit or receive and it doen't key up. I hooked up a spare cobra 25 and it worked fine, but I like Uniden better.

Hi,my name is John. Welcome to FixYa. First try a different mic, one thats wired for it, if I remember the cobra mic will work on it. If that does not do it, let me know, might be internal that I also can help you with. Good luck and thanks for choosing FixYa....John

Where can I buy a Raymarine replacement cord and microphone for a 2004 VHF

Sadly, the mic and cord for the Ray54 have been discontinued by the manufacturer. I guess if you plan to buy a Raymarine VHF, your best bet would be to buy a spare radio for parts. Unbelievable.

Here's the link to that conversation from Raymarine support.

I realize this question is old, but the information could be helpful to someone else.

I have a nokia 1110 model ,phone is ok but the mic is not working ,what should i do now tell me the solution

If there's no internal problem like circuit or ic issues, your problem will be fixed after replacing the mic. You can get the mic from any mobile repairing shop or from mobile spares shop. There's a specific mic for your model, but if in case, you can't find one for 1110 model, then get a universal mic (small), you'll need a soldering iron with soldering wire and paste. If you now how to use mobile soldering iron, go ahead but if you are not good at it, i would suggest you to get it done from a mobile repairing shop. A small mistake can lead to permanent damage and unrepairable.
Good luck.

On/off button fell off Sennheiser wireless mic

This is quite common with G2's, and really annoying!
If you are lucky, 50% of the time the red button is pushed inside the mic.
You need to remove the bottom section:
- open the battery compartment
- there should be 3 star-bit screws around the outside (remove)
- pull the bottom of the mic off

If the red button is not inside, they are available as a spare part from Sennheiser dealers.

Be carefull when putting the mic back together, it needs to line up correctly with the internal guides, forcing the base back on could damage the ribbon cable. when the line-up is correct it slides on very easily.

Best of luck.
