Drum rollers are common noise makers and if let go too long could possibly put the motor in a stall.

SOURCE: turn off buzzer

Assuming you mean the end of cycle alert. The only way to do this is to follow the wiring diagram and install a switch to cut it off.

SOURCE: I have a Kenmore Heavy Duty, super capacity, quiet

It sounds like your heating element has broken. There are several links provided on this site on how to replace it. You might want to take a look at davesrepair.com to purchase a new one. He has pretty good prices on the element.

SOURCE: heavy duty super capacity plus

the drum belt may be broken. you will have to check this, it goes around the drum and the pulley on the motor. you could also have a bad motor.

SOURCE: 80 Series Gas Dryer - No Heat. All other parts

check outside drye vent where it goes through the wall they clog up with lint sometimes and force the escaping warm air to back up which causes sensor to give wrong reading if this is clogged just clear it till you feel the air coming through also check vent at bottom of dryer disconnect flex pipe and check for clogs there as well ..and always clear lint trap after every load

Why does motor quit running after 5 to 10 minutes

Check that the vent in the fuel cap is not plugged. Can create a vacuum preventing fuel getting to carburetor,

If not sure leave cap a little loose and see if stall repeats>

When i put my machine on to spin the clothes are coming out very wet, I have cleaned out everything, everything seems to be working properly, The pump is fine, Can you tell me what is wrong I use onl

Depends how old your machine is Sounds like your motor maybe wearing out. Does it make any noises. Make sure your not putting in to many clothes weighting it down. Try spinning a very little load see if they come out ok. If not MOTOR.

Wont spin or drain makes ticking noise

Maybe the timer is not running.
Can you turn the timer ahead manually a step at a time? Then if you don't hear the motor running the timer may not be working or sending signals to motor to start. . But If the motor starts a spin cycle then the timer is just not running itself probably dut to not getting power.
All this is difficult without the diagrams. There are so many interlocks and safety switches that you wont know about

We have a tempstar down draft furnace. 2 years ago the heat exchangers where replace because we were told they were cracked. This year the downdraft motor was makikg a lot of noise & we were told the...

Sounds like the low limit or high limit is out these control the fan motor. They are usually set to kick on around 150 degrees and set to go off around 95 to 100 degrees. Over heating does happen with cracked heat exchangers and it can possibly take these two items out. Normally your furnace should run approximately five minutes or a little less then your fan motor comes on and then for cooling down burners should drop and the fan motor should run again roughly five minutes or so then shut down. Times may vary as to your settings.

I have the manual and some photos. In my sleep I can completely replace a motor in less than an hour and that includes oiling the rollers and idler and doing a through hoovering out the machine. This machine is worth replacing the motor and really a breeze to repair. Nothing has worked better for over 50 years. Go for it.

Fan quitting on unit

Maybe the room is dry enough so the humidity sensor is turning it off?

If not, maybe the thermisensor(fuse) on the fan motor is failing?

My 1993 concorde has a problem with the power windows. After driving for about 10 minutes the controls won't work. The fuse is very hot to the touch. After the car cools down the windows will work again...

I dont know if it is a fuse that is hot, maybe a Circuit breaker that got hot.
Law: With increase resistance Increase Tempurature.
Something is Acting as resistance in your window switch or on the motor or the window itself (ei tint)

One simple things you can do to help this would Be to clean the Glass of your car And the Lttle **** of the door where the window slides up and down.. And remove Excessive Tint.
If the windows still do not react until cool, then it could be your motor with high resistance.

CP-S335 popping noise when powering on

Hi Eva

A Projector does'nt like being switched on and off all the time , if you are going to watch a couple of movies - rather leave the machine running all the time - this will also help you to get more hours out of your lamp - and that's a promise.

As far as the noise is concerned - it is most probably just the machine that was not cooled down properly at that stage.
