It probably is out of warranty. Most warranties last no longer than 1 year. The switch needs replaced. But it would be cheaper to buy another brand of fan than to pay someone to repair the one that you now own, unless you do the repair yourself.

My 2000 hyundai tiburon alarmed itself and the alarm is sounding. I have no remote control that works.

Put key in ignition, turn all the way forward, but not trying to start. Let alarm cycle 2 times, when it stops the 2nd time, remove key and alarm should be disarmed. This will only work if it is a factory alarm.

I have a Sunbeam Westminster Quartz mantle clock I bought approx 17 yrs ago and after replacing the battery and setting the time again the clock stops after an hour or two. Any ideas of what the problem...

mcdevito75 here, Even a so-called new battery doesn"t really mean it"s NEW!! NEW!! in other words your NEW! battery could have been laying in a store for months before you bought it. Thes ebatteries have a shelf life of a few months, about 1 year with use in a clock / watch.---- Try another battery, also the quartz mechanism could be starting to wear., also double check the battery is installed correctly.

99 v6 camaro overheats and heater not working

My dad used to weld the cracks with JB weld. He would make aV shape line in the crack with a grinder and fill it in. I had a 79 GMC pickup that he fixed. I sold the truck several years later and it never leaked. But then again the heads were cast iron then.If your loosing coolant . That's why your heater is not working and your car . Take it back as WORKFORIT1 suggested and tell them about it.You are the one paying for it.

Fan is Erratic

Ceiling fans with wireless remote controls have an electronic receiver installed in the fan, which controls the light, dimming, and fan speed. Sometimes the receiver goes bad and needs to be replaced. If you have had any power outages or power surges, they may have fried the receiver. I've noticed that my ceiling fan light turns on when the power is restored after a power outage. Now, whenever my power goes out, I shut off the light switch that powers my ceiling fan so It doesn't experience a surge to to the controller when the power comes back on. I've purchased new receivers on eBay and Amazon to replace my blown remotes and receivers.
