You tried your password more than 10 times, could be from entring enter while in your pocket. Just type blackberry in the password window, after will ask your own password, this should unlock

hi there, a blackberry hard reset can be done in two ways
1. go to settings > security options > general settings. in there you will find things that will enable phone lock etc press the blackberry home key you will then see a list of options one will say wipe handheld select that one and the rest is easy.
2. you can also reset blackberry when it is locked just enter the wrong password all the time, the phone will ask you to type blackberry to continue a couple of times on the 10th try when you type it wrong it will say enter blackberry to continue when you type this it will reset and will be as if it were just out the box.
NB. if you get errors like jvm 503 or others hust launch bb desktop manager and plug in your phone and it will say you have software error check for update it will download and install the latest version of bb os for your phone.
this simply means you had attempted to enter the worry security code a number of times.just type blackberry and continue entering the codes until yo run out of attempts.the phone wil reset and wipe all your data.goodluck

dont worry it happens some times when you cant remember the passwod of your phone. do one thing type any wong password on your blackberry phone 10 times. after each 2 or 3 times its showes type blackberry just do whatever it says and after 10 tryed it will auto wipe all the codes then it wants new password and you can put your new password.
