Driver download sites

free drivers MAY be available from the manufacturers web site. They may charge for the restore cd's because the drivers are product code specific. Meaning that the same model number may have changed drivers mid production. You'll need the date code from the label to get the correct set of drivers.

There are no XP drivers to be found with Microsoft as XP is no longer supported.

Some manufacturers may have a limited number of Drivers still listed.

Most newer USB devices does not require any drivers now a days. If you have an older device(several years old) or a very rare device, then you should check the manufacturers Internet support/download site for drivers. Look for your specific device model/number. Google usually gives you a mish mash of paying sites, lots of cofusement, time spill, and head ache! But in some cases it might be the only choice :(

Try http://www.driverguide.com/. They are FREE. You have to Register to download, but they do not direct you to these people. They may have your drivers when you log in. You can also request them if they are not immediately available. It is also quite easy to use, though they have a habit of not listening when you give them a SPECIFIC OS. You just have to be patient and search thoroughly! Best of Luck! Ian.

You must get in touch with HP and check you are using the correct driver or the latest version. If not then perhaps there is an issue with the driver file and you can download it again.

I would go to the manufactures web site. i.e. find the manufactures name and model for your laptop. Go to your favorite search engine and proceed your manufacture name and model with the word " support" when you get to the site look up your model number.Then go to the support page and download the drivers specific for english language. Your problem is that your laptop has driver specific for Japanease so your solution is to get the drivers for english..
