I what to my decrease my text size when i am composing a letter on my email

Not many email facilities give the option of choosing the size of the text.

It is best to compose emails using a word processing programme such as Microsoft Word or Wordpad and then copy and paste to an email or include as an attachment. Using a word processor will provide the option of choosing the typeface and size.

Test not showing when typing an email

Did you set the "font-colour" and the "background-colour" to be identical?

If you use Microsoft Word (or Notepad or Wordpad) to type in some text, and then select that text, and copy it to the clipboard, and then "paste" it into the "body" of the E-mail window, does that text show up?

I have a 2006 Toshiba Laptop. Which operating system: Windows 7, 8, 10 or something else?

Somehow I loaded Wikipedia (all) to my google email page. How do I get rid of it. I cannot access any toolbar. Please elaborate. You loaded a Wikipedia article? Using copy and paste? The first thing to try is reboot the PC. Did that help?

How do I transfer or cut and paste an ad that has been e-mailed to me in my google account:? I have accessed the publication an what area to place to transfer the advertisement from the e-mail account.. Can you help me. While the ad is on your screen, try selecting it with click-and-drag the mouse. Copy the selected text [Ctrl-C]. The simplest place to paste it is into Windows Notepad program. Once there, paste the text [Ctrl-V].

Can a Yahoo! email message contain strikethrough text? If so, how? (HTML formatting doesn't work.)

Use Microsoft Word to format the text with the "strike-through" highlighting.
Then, copy-and-paste the formatted text from Word into your E-mail message.

Help needed to send questions to members on Craigslist

HI,
You should be able to go and open up Yahoo and then go in and send a message from there. Yahoo is a web based email so there is no need to set up a POP or STMS. If you can get into Yahoo just type in the email address of the craigs list person and send it that way. If you go into Craigs List and highlight their email address and then go into yahoo and paste it there you should be able to send it. The windows mail is popping up because that is set as your default mail client. Just ignore it for now and if it pops up just close it. If there is any other questions don't hesitate to ask, Best wishes.

I can't seem to send web pages and links.

You cannot send links directly using Yahoo (unless you use Outlook or Mail to send email), there are two ways to do it:

1. select the link in your browser, copy and paste it directly into your message
  • Copy and paste method 1 - click on link, rightclick, select copy, go to message, right-click select paste
  • Copy and paste method 2 - click on link, CTRL-C, go to message, CTRL-V
The above can look ugly

prettier:

write your message and select part of the text
Click the little Icon that looks like earth with a tiny chain under it
copy and paste the link you want in the box that came up

for example:
you have written click here to see it
highlight the word here
click the icon
The word here will now be a link to the address you pasted (or wrote) in the box

Hope this helps

How do I copy & paste text on the iPhone text input mechanism?

The iPhone way is different. For anything you might want to use in another app, Apple has tried to anticipate the common cases and make them directly available. You don’t copy a picture you took in the Camera app, switch to MobileMail, and paste it into a message; you tap the photo to bring up the toolbar, tap the “do something with this picture” button, and then tap the Email Photo button. You don’t copy a URL from MobileSafari, switch to Mail, and paste it into a message; you tap the URL, then click the Share button that appears. (Which button really should be labeled “Email”, unless and until it offers sharing options other than sending an email.)
