My Lifebook N3510 will not Boot

Hi,

Might as well try to Unseat and reseat the memory module .

Turn off power to your Tablet PC, remove any power adapter (AC or auto/airline). Remove the battery. Make sure that all the connector covers are closed. Turn the Tablet PC bottom side up, and remove the screws from the memory upgrade module compartment. Slide the cover towards the battery compartment slightly, then lift it and remove it (Figure 34). Remove the memory upgrade module from the static guarded sleeve. Align the memory upgrade module with the part side up. Align the connector edge of the memory upgrade module with the connector slot in the compartment Insert the memory upgrade module at a 45° angle. Press the connector edge of the module firmly down and into the connector until it lodges under the retaining clip. You’ll hear a click when it is properly in place. Replace the cover and reinstall the screws.

that will be the process

Add Memory to G4 Notebook

Don it's real easy.

http://www.macinstruct.com/node/162

Slim down version

  • Pop the cover and you'll see the motherboard.
  • Atach anti-static cable to chasis of pc and touch the battery pack or pc frame.
  • Put the card in the memory slot.
  • Remvoe cable adn replace cover.
  • Re-start pc.
Note:

I wouldn't fix your pc on carpet (static reasons) or while your standing wearing socks on carpet with the Mac on the table (obviously).

Sounds simple but you've never believe how may people forget.

That's it.

Upgrade memory for Compaq Presario R3000 PC Notebook

What OS are you running? 768 should be enough to run XP and keep you from getting that error message. On laptops their are normally just 2 slots for ram, so you would need to replace the 256 with the 512, which would bring you up to a gig of ram. Do you know if your computer has any spyware/adware on it? Sometimes malware can take up all your memory and generate just such an error. Do you know how many processes are running when you first login? Thank you.

Memory upgrade

The memory should be DDR II Ram. To find how much ram you have simply click on Start then right click on "My Computer" and click properties. Chances are you have 512 ram. It will tell you in the lower right hand side along with your processer and windows version. Once you have found out how much ram you have, turn off your computer flip it upside down and pull out the battery. Then you should see a cover with one or two screws in it that measures about 3 inch by 4 inch. Remove the screws and take the cover off. This is where your memory goes. If there is 512 memory in your computer you will either have 1 512 memory stick or 2 256 sitcks. Remember that any time you upgrade memory it is best to take out the old memory and replace with either one stick of higher ram or two of equal ram. Never mis a 512 and a 256 or 512 and 1gig ect. Take the ram stick/sticks out and bring them down to the store with you just so as to get the correct memory. Also, remember when you replace the memory, if you are just upgrading to one 1gig stick to put it in the A DIMM slot. This is the primary ram slot.
