Upgrade your cable to a usb 2.0 cable, and your usb cards to a usb 2.0. That should help it print faster. :)

I have a 2410 HP printer and it prints very very very slow. Can you help me? Email address pretty111comcast.net

I have the exact same model of printer, I find that it prints faster if you go into printing preferences and change the print quality to fast draft or fast normal. You can also set the printer directly by pressingcopy twice then press3 for copy quality, then select 3 for fast.
Doing both should produce faster printing for your documents. (NOTE : This will not suggested if you are printiing items that need to have crisp clean printing as the faster it prints the less detailed the printing is.)

My printer is skipping lines. do I need to clean something?

1. Make sure that the machine is turned on, open the Paper Output Tray, and extend the Output Tray Extension.

2. Load a sheet of A4 or Letter-sized plain paper in the Cassette.

4. Start Print Head Deep Cleaning.

(1) Press the Menu button.

(2) Press the or button to select Settings, then press the OK button.

The Settings screen is displayed.

(3) Press the or button to select Maintenance, then press the OK button.

The Maintenance screen is displayed.

(4) Press the or button to select Deep cleaning and then press the OK button.

The confirmation screen is displayed.

(5) Press the or button to select Yes and then press the OK button.

Print Head Deep Cleaning starts.

Do not perform any other operations until Print Head Deep Cleaning finishes. This takes about 1 minute 30 seconds.

5. Check the condition of the Print Head.

(1) Print the nozzle check pattern to check the print head condition.

(2) If the print head nozzles are still not clean, turn off the machine and perform another Print Head Deep Cleaning after 24 hours.

HP P3015 suddenly printing very slowly - about a page a minute

If you unplug the cable from the printer to the PC and print the MENU MAP, does it print slow or at normal speed?
If it prints slow, try following the directions below.
If it prints at normal speed, try removing the printer from the print queue and reinstalling it. Also, download the PCL5 drivers and reinstall it.
Good Luck.

Print a MENU MAP and a CONFIG page.
You will need this info to put the settings back in the printer.
1. Turn the device off.
2. Turn the device on. When the memory count begins, press and hold the CHECK MARK button. Continue holding
down this button until all three device control-panel lights flash once and then remain on. This
might take up to 10 seconds.
3. After the message SELECT LANGUAGE appears on the display, press the ^ button
until COLD RESET is highlighted.
4. Press CHECK MARK . The device performs a cold reset and then continues its power-on sequence.
5. Check all I/O settings and reset any customer-set device configuration values.

COLD RESET sets ALL control panel menu items, including network settings back to factory defaults.
This is where the MENU MAP and CONFIG info come into play.

Says Photo print but want normal print

On the MP750 (and MP780...) there are 3 small "buttons" on each side of the screen. On the right side, the lowest button controls the movement from plain to glossy to high resolution to photoprint. So, if you are on one of these settings and want to switch, you press this button. Pressing it only once will affect only the paper size, but pressing the button twice will control the resolution. To move among the options use the arrow buttons (left and right) under the menu...then just push the ok button. It worked for me.

Will not print on all four lables, and does not print in the same place each time.

for starters you need to calibrate your printer.

Note: If printing in Direct Thermal Mode, default the printer first (4 flashes).

1. Load the labels and ribbon (if used) and close the printer
2. Turn on the printer power.
3. Allow the printer to feed or error out.
4. Press and hold the feed button until the green status LED flashes once, then twice. Release the feed button.
6. The printer will set the media sensor for the label backing being used and then automatically feed until a label is positioned at the printhead.
7. A profile of the media sensor settings (similar to the example in Figure 1) will print. Upon completion, the printer will save the new settings in memory and the printer is ready for normal operation.
8. Press the feed button. One entire blank label will feed. If this does not happen, try defaulting (Hold the FEED button until it flashes 4 times)

Epson R320 prints REALLY SLOW!

That printer is known for being slow. If you believed a salesperson, they may have not done research either. But the printer is known for acceptable output for a really good price. Heres a review:
