Is it possible to replace the plug on a RH toaster?!

if it has blown the fuse then it has an earth fault and needs repairing, probably the heater wire is broke, may not be economical to repair.

My black & decker tro964 is not heating

That may sound like a stupid question, but is it plugged in?
Have you tried to plug in the toaster on a different power outlet?
If there is a ground fault switch where the toaster is plugged in (that's those outlets which have 2 buttons on the front, one labeld "Test" the other usually labeled "Reset") unplug the toaster and push the "Reset" button and try the toaster again. To test, if the power outlet, were the toaster is usually plugged in, is working, try a hair dryer or any other device on that outlet.
Its most likely cheaper to replace the whole toaster than to replace the heating elements, for about 40 $ since that's the price of your toaster on some websites.

Krupa fep2 toaster... Was working fine ...but now, no power indicating and lever won't stay drown nor turn on heat?

Make sure the socket you are plugging into is working by plugging in another appliance or radio etc. Check the fuse in the plug if it has one, this is the most likely problem, if it is ok you will need to do continuity checks from the plug through to the insides of the toaster to check if it is the switch or thermal fuse inside the toaster.
I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.

The prong on the plug snapped off in the outlet

Hello. You can replace the plug your self with a good quality 120 volt, 60 Hz plug, or you can take the toaster to most hardware stores or electrical supply stores where they will repair it for you. Joe

Right side stopped working

In the manual:

Check to see if the toaster is plugged in; if it is, unplug the toaster, then plug it back in again.

A tone will sound when the toaster is plugged into a live electrical outlet.

If no tone sounds, check the electrical circuit the toaster is connected to -

is a fuse blown or a circuit-breaker tripped in your home?

At least with "unplugging and plug it back again in the electrical outlet" the right side of our toaster works again. The tone that should sound with plugging in didn't work...

The toaster does not heat and it's only 6 mos. old.

1. check outlet where you plug in your toaster with lamp or vacuum.
jiggle plug of lamp or vacuum while plugged in to check for bad outlet.

if lamp or vacuum do not work, check breaker panel/fuse box for tripped breaker/blown fuse.
if breaker/fuse okay, replace outlet.
if lamp or vacuum work okay, go to next step

2. plug toaster back into outlet, jiggle plug, then jiggle cord at plug, then jiggle cord at toaster.
this checks for intermittent power cord.

if cord okay, check that the toaster lever or toast basket are not blocked from going completely down.
might be a bit of bread, muffin, bagel that blocks the basket.

if all okay, you need other solutions.....

Slide button won't push down

I have the same problem, if my toaster isn't plugged in. If it is plugged in, it should work.

Russell Hobbs 9376 Classic 2-Slice Toaster

Possibly a GFI on an outlet of the same circuit as the toaster needs to be reset?

We had the same problem and so came here. When I read "replaced the fuse in the plug" my husband asked about the outlet GFI switches (he replaced the outlets last year, so he remembered they had GFI switches). One GFI on the toaster's circuit had "blown" and so needed to be reset. Before relegating the toaster to the recycling bin, check the it by plugging it into an outlet you know is working.

Toaster not working

Is the electrical outlet working? Plug something else in (a lamp perhaps) and see if there is power to the plug.
