most of infocus parts are oem and made by a company in taiwan that no longer makes power supplies, and many of the parts have their stock numbers and not neccesarily a common stock. the power supply, however, is in stock at infocus for about $65.

Replace 4, 100 mfd capactor and 1 4.7mfd capactor. on the power supply board, if still nedd help call me at 408 685-7901

I haven't serviced an infocus projector before, But I have seen 3 or 4 Red cutting out display simptoms on projectors caused by bent or pushed in gold pins on the VGA leads. (it always seems to be red!) I won't comment on insides but do check this basic tip before delving in too deep. Good Luck

It sounds like you may be feeding it with an HDMI source using an HDMI to M1-D adapter...

If this is the case, make sure the source in not set to a resolution higher than 720p.
However I really need more information to offer a definitive solution.

Your Mainboard needs replacement.

Check for internal fuse on power module, you will have to open the case.
Make sure power cord is removed. Be carefull capacitors tend to hold a charge long after power is removed. I have a LP640 ....big brother to this one. If you open the case the warranty is voided so think about it first. the fuse could be on the circuit board and will look like a small solid green resistor or it could be a full sized fuse in-line with the wires coming from the power cord connector. I have seen the inside of a LP390 with the fuse behind the power inlet connector. Good Luck
