How to remove/uninstall cydia 1.1.8 from iphone 5

I. Jailbreak your iPhone/iPad

To do this procedure you must be jailbroken. If you aren't, you can head to our Jailbreak How To's section and pick the jailbreak for your version of iOS (currently at the time of writing this is 7.0.4). Once done with that procedure and you have Cydia installed, head back here to continue.
*Don't be scared, it's easy to unjailbreak your device.

II. Install Winterboard

1. Open Cydia (if it isn't still open from the section above).
2. Tap Search in the bottom right corner.
3. Type in Winterboard.
4. Tap on Winterboard when it shows up.
5. Tap Install in the top right corner.
6. Tap Restart.

III. Use Winterboard

1. Open Cydia.
2. Search Cydia (either by searching using the search tab on the bottom right, or by tapping the section tab and then Themes (Springboard/Winterboard) icon).
3. Once you find the Theme you want and it says it's compatible with iOS 7, tap Install.
4. Tap Return to Cydia.
5. Open Winterboard.
6. Tap on Themes.
7. Select the theme you want to use.
8. Tap the home button and wait for it to respring the device
9. Repeat steps 1-8 to apply a different theme.

IV. Revert to the Original Apple Theme

1. Open Cydia.
2. Tap on Manage.
3. Tap on Packages.
4. Tap on Winterboard.
5. Tap Modify.
6. Tap Remove.
7. Tap Restart.

1. Plug your Iphone into your computer (mac or PC) and than quit itunes/iphoto/whatever else opens up<br /><br />2. download greenpoison for mac or PC<br />(http://greenpois0n.com/)<br /><br />3. Open the .exe or dmg and run the program<br /><br />4. click start, than it is important to follow the instructions exactly as soon as each instruction is highlighting follow that instruction for as long as it is highlighted<br /><br />5. your iphone will look a little crazy DONT reboot it or touch anything it will reboot itself<br /><br />6. there will now be a "loader" application installed on your Iphone<br /><br />(I reccomend connecting to wifi for this next step but its not mandatory)<br /><br />7. open the loader app and click install cydia and then wait for it to install<br /><br />8. now cydia is installed you can use this to install a wide variety of third party apps<br /><br />Congratulations your Iphone is now jailbroken!

Step 1: Update iTunes to the latest version available and reboot your computer.
Step 2: Download BlackRa1n from our iPhone downloads page and install it, then reboot your PC (note that rebooting is not necessary but I always do this as a precaution).
Step 3: Plug your iPhone to your computer and launch BlackRa1n. Click on “make it ra1n”.
Step 4: Your iPhone will now enter recovery mode. The regular recovery mode image on your iPhone will be replaced by a picture of GeoHot.
Step 5: BlackRa1n will run on your iPhone and then it will reboot.
A pop up will show up asking you to donate. If you successfully jailbreak your iPhone, I suggest you send $5 or $10 to GeoHot.
Step 6: Once your iPhone reboots, you will notice a new icon on your springboard. This is BlackRa1n. Now make sure you have internet connection and launch BlackRa1n on your iPhone.
Step 7: Choose what installer applications you want to install on your iPhone and then tap “Install”. I suggest only installing Cydia but you may install them all if you want to.
BlackRa1n will download and install the selected applications.
Step 8: Once done installing, your iPhone will respring and you should see your installer app on your springboard.
Step 9: Once your installer app (Cydia in our case) is installed. You can safely uninstall BlackRa1n by launching the app and selecting “uninstall balckra1n”.
Step 10: Reboot your iPhone. You’re done!
