The easiest way is to email the voice memo to yourself. You can do so by clicking on the memo, then click on the export icon, then select email.

If you are trying to save multiple voice memos, you can just back up your device to iTunes on your computer.

The ants that I sometimes have in my unit are carnivorous. I've tested this out. I dont have the other type you mention.
I bought a different ant bait this week. Its in a carboard box and is called King Kong Ant . You make up the traps by pouring the granules into the chambers (so can use less and extend lifetime).
They seem very powerful and I dropped a few ganuales on the counter top and they were gone in 30 minutes and havent seen ants since I put one of the two chambers down for the whole unit.

Generally speaking, you need the Apple ID to reset your iPhone. iPhone needs you to enter the Apple ID to switch off your account and the Find My iPhone service will be turn off. If you are using iTunes to reset your iPhone, you need to enter the Apple ID when your iPhone reboots.
reset-iphone-oxaxc0rwhkhzilrwacqreyis-5-0.jpg But if you have no Apple ID or passcode, you will have to reset your iPhone without Apple ID. To reset iPhone without Apple ID, you need first put iPhone into DFU mode and connect it to your iTunes. Your iTunes will help you to reset your iPhone without entering Apple ID easily. Resetting your iPhone with this method will result in wiping all the data in your iPhone. The following steps will show you how to do that.
  1. Open iTunes on your computer and connect your iPhone to the computer with a USB cable.
  2. After that, turn off you device. Press and hold the Home button for 3 seconds.
  3. Put your iPhone into DFU mode: Press and hold the Power and Home button for 10 seconds. Then release the power button and keep holding the home button. When you see the Apple logo disappears, you have successfully put your iPhone into DFU mode.
  4. When iTunes detects that your iPhone is in recovery mode, you can restore it now.
  5. Click on Restore iPhone. Then you will be notified after the reset and your iPhone will take a restart.

After resetting your iPhone with the guidance mentioned above, you'd better create a new Apple ID and password in time. After resetting iPhone, you will get all the data swept from iPhone, and you can restore the files from your iPhone, iTunes backup or iCloud backup. However, you can't backup iPhone to iTunes/iCloud without Apple ID before you reset your iPhone . In this case, you need the third-party iOS data recovery software to help you recover lost data from iPhone after factory reset without Apple ID.

From the website - the 2nd one worked for me:

If iPhone won't turn on, or the display freezes or doesn't respond
  1. Press and hold the Home button for at least six seconds, until the application you were using quits.
  2. If that doesn't work, turn iPhone off and turn it on again. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of iPhone for a few seconds until a red slider appears, and then slide the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
  3. If that doesn't work, reset iPhone. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Here's some info about your iPhone display repair:

Repair/replacement from Apple: $200-$250 The iPhone is covered under a standard limited one-year Apple warranty for manufacturer's defects, but is not eligible for AT&T's wireless phone insurance, which (for a $5 monthly fee) will provide replacement in the case of loss or theft, accidental physical or liquid damage or mechanical and electrical failure after the manufacturer's warranty period has expired.
Apple will repair your iPhone for the service fee listed below, plus $6.95 for shipping and handling:
  • 4GB: $199
  • 8GB: $249
Do-it-yourself: $150-$200 tools and loss of your warranty Several third-party companies sell replacement iPhone screens, which include the LCD and associated components. PDAParts sells the complete replacement screen for $150 and has a how-to-video for self-installation.

Hope this helps.

your easydrive may have a bad connection inside. I would try a new one first. If it works, then the old one is worn out. IF not, then your iphone lightening port may be dirty/damaged. Check out google drive or onedrive from Microsoft. They are cloud based versions of easy drive that require no hardware.

You must have a backup in the pc if you choose to use itunes. Check that. This has to be restored on the original or a newer iphone.

If you are sure that the lost messages are in the iTunes backup and you don't mind losing the data generated after the backup, just restore the iPhone with iTunes.
If the iTunes backup is not the latest, and you don't want to lose current data on your iPhone, try to extract the messages from the backup using the iTunes backup extractor. Of course, if you have an iCloud backup, you can also use iCloud backup to restore the iPhone, or extract the messages from the iCloud backup with an iCloud backup extractor.
If cannot find the lost messages in the iTunes backup, you can still recover deleted messages from iPhone by scanning the device directly with the help of an iPhone data recovery software.
