Replace the batteries; even if the batteries still work, if it is low on power, sometimes the mouse won't work.

Connects and clicks just doesnt move the curser

I presume you can see the motion sensing red LED or laser beam shining under the mouse. If not, that has gone bad, and it would probably be more economical to replace the mouse than to attempt a repair.

If the light is on under the mouse, try cleaning the lenses (both LED and photoreceptor) with a cotton swab dampened with isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol). Don't scrub, just wipe the optics gently until clean.

I can see my curser on the screen but my mouse button is not working

make sure you have the right mouse selected click start control panel mouse hardware you will see which mouse is selected
you might have to uninstall the mouse then restart your computer then reinstall the mouse and its drivers

click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to mice and other pointing devices you might see a yellow exclamation mark ! or question mark ? or a red x
right click you will need to update the driver

click start control panel mouse you should see 4 tabs buttons, pointers, pointer options and hardware under hardware you have options to troubleshoot also you can select properties under driver you will have options to update driver, rollback driver or uninstall

make sure you have the right mouse selected click start control panel mouse hardware you will see which mouse is selected in xp

I have found that the best way to adjust your mouse settings is to create a control panel in your bottom toolbar scroll to the bottom of your screen right click you will see an array of options select the toolbar option then select desktop

then you will see the desktop in the bottom toolbar select the 2 >>arrow heads then all control panel items then select mouse this is in WINDOWS 7

in XP you will have to select the new toolbar option once you have that a browse option select my computer then control panel then a control panel option will be in the bottom toolbar

for the double click this will be in the folder options follow previous to get to control panel items
click start control panel navigate folder options tick in the double click to open circle

hope this helps

Curser doesn't move... on my Logitech Trackman Wheel - 3-btn Trackball - Wired For some reason my curser used to just drop to the bottom left of the screen during operation which was quite frustrating... I...

Sounds to be a hardware problem. especially if it would move by itself at times, now not at all.

Windows is detecting it correctly, right?

If so, then i would say time for a new one.

Wireless mouse curser does not move new batteries installed

If the mouse totally stop working like left/right click, moving, etc then i suggest replace the battery of your mouse and try. If the same result then again install the driver & restart the netbook.
Thanks waiting for your feedback.

Changed battery and now doesn't work. red light is on bottom of mouse, but curser won't move on screen

There is a reset button on both receiver and mouse you must reset every time you change batteries. Normally the receiver one first.
