Microphone micro phone is not working though ear phone is working

you shoulds take the phone to a mobiles repair center and have them replaced the microphone for you.

sorry to say but it might not available in the market you have to get a new one.thanks

Since you can not hear people calling you, it means you will need to service your phone.
Get a screw driver, and unscrew the phone. Get a methylated spirit and a brush and gently brush the surface of the panel. Allow it to dry for about 30 minute. Take a meter and read the ear piece, if it reads it means the earpiece is still working. But if it does not read, it means you will need to get a new ear piece to replace the spoilt earpiece. Couple the phone and your phone will work fine.
You can your also use your ear phone to make call pending the time you will replace the earpiece.

I guess you are referring to a Head phone and microphone set, with the cable splitting at the other end into two jacks. Most probably one a pink (or rose) colored one and the other green colored. Not necessary though, sometimes these two can be same color with indentation on the plastic surface to identify which one is Microphone and Headphone. If this is what the information you are looking for look on the back side of the computer. You will see three sockets in one column. If the computer is relatively new chances are that the surrounding area of these three jacks are also colored pink, green and blue. Match the pink jack to the pink (head phone) socket. Like wise green (ear phone) to green. Leave the blue one. If the computer is an old one, you may need a relatively close inspection.You may see a circle with an arrow going in to represent Mic and a circle with an arrow pointing outward to represent ear phone.

The microphone in the lifter was not centered over the microphone on my phone, so all I did was centered the lifter over the microphone, and it works.

take the phone and have the microphone replaced.

it may be pro in ur microphone transmitter and receiver..tis can b available in the node connect between two ear speakler..so better check tat

Hmm...i have the exact same phone...though this has never happenend to me. The only thing i can suggest is maybe look at the microphone and see if there is anything clogged in it? It not, i am not really sure hwat to say? Maybe take it to youre local ATT store and have them take a look, or request a new phone?

There is NO built in microphone with this laptop. You will need to purchase an external microphone and plug it into the mic in socket.
