Connect the Sansa to your computer using the supplied cable. Open up an explorer window. You'll see your Sansa either as a removable hard drive or as a Sansa, depending on the USB mode. Either way, navigate into it, then into the MUSIC folder. You can delete entire albums from here, or navigate into the albums and delete individual tracks.
there mite be a corupted music file that is stopping your system from running properly like a coppy protected file or a virus encrypted file. check all your music that you load to be sure its not copy protected. jsut hover over the music file and wait for the info page to pop up on it it should say if its protected or not if it dosnt say anything then its not protected. as for finding the virus encrypted files thats a little harder just load one song at a time and see if it plays on your mp3
hook it up to your computer with the usb cable that was included with the mp3 player. now just go into the mp3 player in the My Computer folder and then just delete the songs off the Mp3 player.
I didn't realize the sansa clip supported pictures - are sure you posted in the right section?

I was able to get my son's View to connect to the computer by downloading Media Player 11 from the Microsoft site. Haven't had any problems since I did that.
The Sansa will only show photos and play videos from its internal memory, not the microSD card. You can put music on the card, but not photos or videos.
To delete files directly from the Sansa player, follow these steps:
1. In playback mode, press the Submenu button.
2. Select Delete.
To delete music files using the computer, follow these steps:
1. Connect your Sansa to the computer.
2. Select Open device to view files using Windows Explorer on initial
connection.
3. Locate the folder where your files are stored.
NOTE: Music files are stored in the MUSIC folder. Voice recording files
are stored in RECORDING folders. Photos and Videos are stored at PHOTO
and VIDEOS folders, respectively.
4. Highlight and delete the desired files.
i had the same problem on mine but then when I opened the files on the small folder it shows there was this lock icon and then I realized that all the songs that have that lock say bad track. I used a different song download limewire and now all the songs work fine
It might be a glitch and I had my Sandisc Sansa e250R mp3 player for a very short time but I think if you delete the Rhapsody Channels with the player instead of the computer it might work.
Hope it works
