You're asking in the Yahoo mail category. Are you unable to access Yahoo mail or BT mail?
If it's BT mail, and you've switched from BT, you're likely out of luck as you would no longer have authorization to access their servers, as those would be restricted to BT servers. This is why independent email services (such as Hotmail, Gmail and Yahoo mail) are nice - they're not tied to any one internet company and can follow you no matter how many times you switch.
I think this might be what you are refering to. BT is an Internet Service Provider (ISP). AOL is a digital media service. (meaning they don't provide Internet, they offer things like Email, Instant Messaging, etc.)
Which company do you recieve your Internet from currently? (someone like Comcast, Time Warner, etc.)
Hi Anonymous, I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box? What is your BT email address and password, you can change the password later!
Use BT Yahoo Mail? You'll be moving to the new BT Mail later this year.
If you receive a message asking you to change your password, it's important you do so.
changing their mail service, but I don't think this changes what I have said above.

BT ar
bet you can! I'm not a bt customer and I was able to get on their site to try and understand all these SAME questions about getting bt email. You're probably even on their server when you get onto the Internet, since it appears BT is an ISP (Internet Service Provider). You can go to http://home.bt.com and read how to resolve your issue, or talk to their agents and get sepcific help.
Hi Jenny, Yes most providers give you access to their email system for as long as you are subscribed to their Internet Services. If you cancel your BT Broadband Service then you will loose your BT Internet Email Accounts.
You may want to look at a Gmail or Yahoo account if you need a new one. Additionally I would recommend you change your question and remove your email from it ;) no sense in giving your other email to the world. Have a great day...
In case your bt yahoo account is tide up to their corporate e-mail good chance that they might hold it. Your best option is to export all the mails that you need to keep and your address book.
Open a g-mail if you don't have one, they have a good size for FREE.
Once you sign up, forward all the mails and all your contacts to that new e-mail account.
Make sure you read their TOS (Terms of Service) to make sure that they can't hold anything against you.
