Purchased a Digital Decor digital pocket viewer listed as having built-in software that autoloads to any PC. Came with a USB cable. System requirements: Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista; Pentium 233 MHz Processor or higher; 256M; USB port. I have all of this and yet, the software does not load. I have read reviews online stating other users with the same difficulty, with no results. I get the PC Connect message, then the PC Connecting message, but no further.
Time to return?

After seeing pc connecting - open "my computer" it will appear as another disk drive - open it and open DPF_V211.exe
then you can load your pictures - good luck

On this specific item I found out that after plugging in the USB cable press the down arrow button (the little silver button furthest from the USB connector) and then it should connect.
Worked for me just as stated in the manual (except they didn't mention having to first press the down arrow).
Connect it to the computer and leave it for about 5-6 hrs. After that The Software will auto load and you will not face anymore problems

same as above
I had the same problem - when it is saying PC connecting - open "my computer" and you will see it as an additional disk drive - open that and load DPF_V211.exe and then it should work.
