Twinning problem My goodman GMP 075 3 furnace took a dump this morning. The status light flash continuously. I consult ---''the chart''--- and see twinning and polarity errors. I checked the other answers and want to make sure the primary leads are the ones on the main power coming in from the house. I don't have a problem switching them but don't want to fry something I might need later.

Not an easy task! Take many pictures as well as draw out and mark which wire went where. You will have to remove everything from inside the cabinet to get to the heat exchanger. It may be easier to replace the furnace. If you are paying a professional to do the exchange, figure three hours if they have done it before, if not figure 5 to 6.

Translate four LED flashes to mean your furnace has a primary limit circuit open, possibly from loose wiring or blocked filters. Check and clean filters, tighten wiring and check the flue for blockages.
A typical limit looks like this: Consult your furnace schematic to determine how many of these puppy's are wired in and around the furnace. Make sure they all have continuity. Have the power OFF before you reset the limit. Ouch!

Somewhere in your furnace all of these flashes have a chart you can consult usually located on the backside of the blower cover.

I have the EXACT same problem. Cant find the filter and no manual came wit hthe furnace when I bought hte house!!! AGH!!

Look at pressure switch and inspect the tubing for any water logging, crimps, or cracks. Also ensure there are no obstructions in the vent line.
Is the ignitor glowing at all? Did you test the voltage going to the ignitor?

sounds like the primary limit typically behind the gas valve its larger then the others, rectangle in shape with 2 wires going to it. be careful if your bypassing limit this can create a very hazardous condition

Rewire to schematic specs and check po;larity of transformer. Rus

Call AAA back it should be warrented if they worked on it frst don't touch it or you lose your warrent, it does sound like the thermal bulb is not in the flame so call them back fist then let me know post here and I will try to help you if they do not sove the problem, you should have a work order they gave you when they did the repair. Hold on to it.

The light is supposed to be on, if there is a fault in the furnace the light will begin to give u a flash pattern... ie; three flashes...or two flashes.. on the furnace exterior or on one of the doors there should be a fault code chart.... read the chart on the unit it will tell you what light is on and when..
