According to the manual, if your furnace width is 14", then the filter will be 14 x 25 x 1, but i have found that i need to use a 12 x 24 x 1 on mine because the larger one doesn't fit. I could probably squeeze a 13 x 24 x 1 in there though. You're probably going to have to do a trial and error.According to the manual, if your furnace width is 14", then the filter will be 14 x 25 x 1, but i have found that i need to use a 12 x 24 x 1 on mine because the larger one doesn't fit. Not an easy task! Take many pictures as well as draw out and mark which wire went where. You will have to remove everything from inside the cabinet to get to the heat exchanger. It may be easier to replace the furnace. If you are paying a professional to do the exchange, figure three hours if they have done it before, if not figure 5 to 6.
Look at pressure switch and inspect the tubing for any water logging, crimps, or cracks. Also ensure there are no obstructions in the vent line.
Is the ignitor glowing at all? Did you test the voltage going to the ignitor?
I hope you find this information to be very helpful to you moving forward. :-)
Sounds like the fan switch on the furnace is set to low. Turn power off to furnace, take door off of furnace look for a fan switch, it may be a fan - limit together. The limit settings should be approximately 160° to 200°, and the fan settings should be about 100° to 140° set it to 120° it it's already set there then you probably need to replace it.
I don't know where you are located, but there is a Goodman distributor in Sacramento, CA. Also in Ontario CA. They are a distributor so they may be able to help you or tell where to find someone who will help. Goodman is also known as GMC or Janitrol.
