You may download all drivers for your laptop here:

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-55029.html

Download all drivers and save it to a CD. You might need that later.

Regards.

Sound card missing

You may have to install the new drivers for your Realtec '97 Audio device from Realtek: The file name is WDM_A400.exe. You can google it to find it.
You can also (recommended) try to download the audio drivers from www.hp.com

MY HP SPEAKERS WILL NOT WORK AND NEITHER WILL THE HEADPHONES

Hi,

The simple and the only solution to this is reinstalling the sound card drivers.

Go to device manager > under sound video and game controllers
Right click on the IDT high def audio codec and uninstall it.

Also uninstall the connexant or th realtec audio driver
remember don't install the IDT codec back.. just reinstall the sound driver from the recovery manager > advance options > hardware driver installation.

Regards,
Anup
