I am uable to listen any type of sound from speaker and in device manager it is not showing option of enable disable it is showing only hardware scan and properties

Shut the computer down and remove the sound card, restart the computer without a sound card installed then shut it down again. Re-install the sound card and make sure the monitor is connected before you restart. The computer should have seen the card and loaded the correct driver. If you are still having problems shut down and restart in safe mode and troubleshoot.

My system was open in black screen.Because i have changed the true colour in my desktob is 1024*786.how to rectify this problem....

If you are able to boot into Windows press the F8 key before the Windows loading animation shows up to boot into safe mode. You can then change your resolution or uninstall the drivers (if needed). You can then restart from safe mode. If you cannot get into windows turn your PC and monitor off and unplug both from their power sources for 5 minutes. You would also want to disconnect the VGA or DVI cable going from your monitor to your graphics card. After 5 minutes with everything unplugged you can plug in your DVI or VGA cable back into your graphics card and then plug power back into your PC and monitor.

Shut down by holding in Power button for 5 secs... press F8 continuously on start up, go into Safe Mode with Networking.. have a look around at some of the Devices in Device Manager, check Drivers, also default to normal mode in Bios/Uefi

Display problem

hi raju knowu
welcome to the forum! From safe mode open 'display properties', then 'settings'. It should show a screen area of 640 x 480 and 16 colors. Click 'apply' and 'OK'. It should give you a message that you're changing the settings for normal mode. Click to confirm that. Then shut down and restart in normal mode. It should boot OK to thedesktop.
Then you need to figure out what happened. Since they were both the same laptop the video drivers should be the same, or was one of the laptops using an external monitor?
Check in device manager and see if it shows a problem with the video adapter. If so you may need to reinstall the video drivers. If not, try the recommended video settings for the laptop.

New motherboard put in my hp pavillion dv6262 in January when computer wasnt even 2 years old. Computer is trying to start up showing a black screen and within a few seconds shutting back down again. Is...

I have reviewed your problem and have the fallowing items for you to check and or try.
Try booting into safe mode and see if the same thing happens.
( F-8 )
Choose safe mode with network configuration installed.
If the unit runs without shutting down, it is a program conflict and not a hardware issue.
Run this safe mode start up, with no external devices connected.
Note... Remove any Flash Cards or USB devices, CD or DVD's .
If the unit runs without shutting down in safe mode, you may want to run a complete restoration of software.
Hope this helps.

Will not display output from Computer

Probably the video resolution or the monitor Refresh Rate (eg: 50/60/75 Hertz) is set too high in the operating system, which over-drives the monitor electronics and it is unable to display anything.

If you restart the computer manually (hold in the power button for 5 seconds, the computer will shut off, turn it back on again) you will see the normal BIOS and Windows startup display on the monitor, but then as Windows completes it's startup it returns to the error message you see.

To fix this, restart the computer manually and start the computer in Safe Mode. To do this press F8 just before the computer starts to load Windows, and choose Safe Mode. Once in Safe Mode, you should see the monitor working correctly.

Now restart the computer in Normal Mode and everything should be fine.

Hmm... is still not working

Start your computer and tap the F8 key as soon as the computer begins to power-up. Keep tapping until you come to the Safe Mode screen. When the screen alerts you to the fact that you have chosen Safe Mode, click OK.

When you get to the desktop go to the control panel and launch System Properties. Go to Hardware and Device manager. Click the arrow next to the Display Adapter. Point at the adapter, right click and chooser Properties. Click the Driver Tab. Roll back the video driver to previous driver.

If indeed you have installed a new driver that is not compatible with your video card, then rolling it back to the original may very well take care of this problem.

Good luck!
