Hi,
First try to enable scripting through Internet Explorer

Go to Internet Explorer,
Click "Tools"
Click "Internet Options."
Click "Security" tab.
Click "Custom Level" button.
Scroll down to "Script ActiveX.controls marked safe for scripting"- enable
Scroll down to "Scripting - Active scripting" - enable
Scroll down to "Scripting of Java applets" - enable
Click OK
Click OK

You may not have Internet Explorer as your default browser but it is coded with Yahoo Messenger
For this reason you must keep it up to date and the support software as well. You do not have to set it as default but you need to keep itclean.

1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
2. On the Security tab, select the zone the site loads under.
3. Scroll down to the Scripting section, and set the Active Scripting to Disabled - prevents scripts or to Prompt - prompts user to run or not to run scripts.
4. Click OK.

delete any old versions

Active your button in flash (by one click on it), now, it's active, now open Action Script pan, and now, insert this peace of code:
on (release) {
    getURL("Put your URL here");
}

for example:
on (release) {
    getURL("http://www.example.com");
}

note: now, if you active "Script Assist" on this peace of code you can put some parameters to it easily like "Variabales" and "Windows". in Windows you can choose that if your URL open in Blank page or self, of course you can put it manually like this:
on (release) {
    getURL("http://www.example.com", "_blank");
}
