I have a inspiron 6000 and i cant here anything

please explan you question

Firstly you can reset bios settings to default if you can find this option,use "tab" and arrow keys to navigate and "tab "or enter to select options .. Run through a few times to get to know the bios pages dont alter anything untill your sure you know what your doing --you will be given the option to save changes and quit

did you try a + Dvd?Can you format the disk or add data to it ?

i found the sound driver that works on DELL INSPIRON 6000
It also works on:
Inspiron- 6000, 93000, 9200, 2200, 1200, XPS Gen 2
Latitude- D610, D810, 110L, D510, D410, X1

click 'start' control panel add remove programs click the program you want to remeve than click remove ( on the right side) and follow the on screen prompts ( if there are any)

click start>Computer there u can access all drives...

Try to reinstall XP again, when prompted to partiton, select to do so.
You will lose everything on the hard drive and will need to reinstall all of your programs.

Try holding the "fn" key and up-down arrow to lighten or darken it.

First, can it boot into BIOS setup? This is DEL, Esc, F1, F2, or whatever key your user manual instructs; press the requisite key immediately after pressing the power switch. Second, can it boot from an emergency recovery disk from the floppy, or a boot CD from the CD drive?
