I have a approx 11 year old GE WBSE2090A0WW, it will (on light wash) automatically fill, agitate, spin, fill again...then stop. It will continue if I manually advance the dial to spin, then it will drain,...

Do you have a check valve in your drain line to the municipal sewer ? It can prevent backups that are quite unpleasant.

Is your laundry room drain properly vented ? (I know mine is not but so far so good.) New homes built by reputable contractors should meet all codes but there are lots of renos done by homeowners who don't know or don't care.

My front loader has a filter that must be manually cleaned from time to time. The main symptom is very slow filling.

GE washer model WBSE2090A0WW control assembly replacement

hi. I was also searching for the same part and got the same result; nooo, the unit is smaller and only has spots for two knobs not four.

have you looked at this site? and Dryers_Miscellaneous .... if that link doesn't work try this and navigate thru it.

There is a guy who lives down the street from me who owns an electronics repair shop; I will be taking my control assembly to him. I'll let you know what he says. On my circuit board, there is a "brown" solder joint; all others are the normal silver color. Hopefully the guy can fix the component that hooks up to the solder connection (it's a relay).

I've been having trouble w my washer (same model as yours) for a couple months ~ I've troubleshooted everything!!!

Hopefully we don't have to end up buying new washers!! take care. (I'll let you know what my neighbor says, too ... thx)

I have a GE washer with a model number WHDRR418G1WW I think it is hard to read. Anyway, I will not agitate. I have unplugged the machine and let it sit for a minute or two and then did the reset thing but...

Try moving the agitator by hand, when turned backwards it shoud stop.

If not, romove the softener cup by pulling up, remove the cap underneath, remove the bolt, pull the top half of the agitator off, you should see broken plastic pieces.

They are called DOGS, cheap and easy to replace.

Ask your friendly appliance parts guy.

Will not go in to spin cycle

Remove agitator (it will pop off when pried) then you will find your answer. Mine was a broken tub collar to shaft.
