The ASUS P5KPL-AM Driver CD can´t be read. It´s incompatible for Windows Seven. Can´t make nothing with drivers for AUDIO, CHIPSET, GRAPHICS, LAN. Some drivers may be present in Windows Seven because my PC works fine in GRAPHICS, LAN, etc., but no for my VIA VT 1708b (audio isn't ready). Which is the solution? Thanks. Alejandro.
Hello Alejandro,
Asus do not offer Windows 7 drivers yet.
Sorry.
The problem is that Windows Seven is still in testing phase and it's not due for a stable release till early 2010.
However, since it's getting huge attention and everyone's expecting it to be "the" OS by MS, companies should start working on drivers for this issue in a few months.
Sorry for the disappointment.

I've got my sound working on w7 it was installed automatically, i'vegot the w7 build 7000, if it's some help get windows updates and itwill work, the only problem i found it's that the system only recognise5 jack (on the back) and none on the front, but still gives you thechance to plug a 5.1 home theater, a headophone& mic.
Also youcan solve problems with the action center on the system tray, it hashelped me for some problems and solved them automatically. Other thingu can do is uninstall your audio driver manually, and reboot, take alook in your device manager on the control panel, it must appear as adevice with no driver installed or device with a problem if you can'tsee the devide there u got more than a driver problem, check the biosif the audio is enabled.
I think the people that answered before medoesn't have w7 and speak's based on nothing, sorry if i spelledsome words wrong, if u need contact me.

Buhu2: Then, half the world can´t be experiencing with Windows Seven. Microsoft must do something for this bug too. Thanks too much Buhu2. Alejandro.
Buhu2: In a forum I read Vista drivers from mobo CD might work in Seven, but incompatibility from the CD reading, can't access the driver setup, unless I manually do it. I made some testing, but it was insufficient. I'll continue testing until Microsoft gimme solution. That´s all Buhu2 and thanks again. Alejandro.
