Tv turns off light blinks

Your TV have faults on Horizontal deflections, the oscillator and the Flyback might be the problems. If you are not familiar with TV circuits?... call tecnician to check your set.

try the rest button on the front panle.

I have a 42in vizio led with about the same problem i replaced a 75 cent chip # u33 on computer board problem fixed.

The TV is going into protection mode. Could be a problem with moisture. Can you try warming up the rear with a hair drier? Ensure that you do not apply too much heat to avoid damage to plastic parts. If you can remove the back cover (after unplugging the power outlet and switching off the TV), try doing in on the entire PCB, if you suspect moisture is the problem. Please do not touch anything in the board by bare hand as there would be high voltage charge in capacitors even after switch off. If it does not work, this might need attention of a qualified service technician

count how many times the light blinks. The blinking is a error code and the number of blinks helps identify which board is faulty let me know the number

How many times red light blinks? It is error code of problem in TV.
There would be pause of 3 seconds between blinks so count from pause to pause and let me know to find out solution.

Did you push in the device and the menu buttons at the same time and get the error code...  I have the same problem and I get a 1,2 code....   I am looking for what the codes stand for...

Sony has a code for those blinks indicating the problem area. Count the blonks till the pause then google Sony blink codes for the area to fix.

Hello according to the symtom that you have describe I think that maybe you have activated the sleep function button on your tv and if this is not so maybe there is an internal problem on the main board of the tv.
