Re: Zenith dvd/vcr Combi Receiver ZHX-313 The middle speaker (C) has stopped producing any sound. The speaker itself is OK as I switched the speaker to another line and it works. The wire connection seems to be attached properly. It just stopped working recently. I haven't moved the system for dusting, cleaning etc. Help!

    The answer was in spanish. I tried to translate the answer to english using the internet but the english translation made no sense.

    kino536, thank you thank you! The middle speaker now works great, as it used to. I could not find my instruction manual for my system (including remote control unit) so I was very frustrated. Alanomarie, I had the same basic problem, was able to remedy it by selecting sound mode on my remote and pressing it till unit displayed 'prologic'. Hope this is of help.

I have a Zenith ZHX313 DVD/VCR and I can't get the tracking to work when using VHS tapes. I can hear audio but the picture is not clear.
Tracking depends on the tape's lower edge. If the head that reads it is dirty or the edge is wavy you will have bad tracking.

VCR Won't Eject VHS Tape
Do not panic yet! Before doing anything else just unplug the unit for a time. On two different occasions I unplugged my TV/VCR combo, it reset itself and I could eject the tape. I do not know how much time is really necessary as I let mine sit overnite in those two instances.

So after much frustration the first time a tape stuck which included carefully opening the chassis to look for a twisted tape, sticky labels or loose parts in and around the metal cassette holder plates, I put it back together. Now I just unplug to reset.

I am not saying this will work in every instance, but give it a try first.
